The Jane Austen Birthday Bake-Off

Calling all Janeites! Join us in a virtual celebration of Jane Austen's 245th birthday!
Traditionally, JASNA members meet at Regional events each December to celebrate Jane Austen’s birthday on the 16th. Although in-person gatherings won't be possible this year, we can still mark the occasion virtually with The Jane Austen Birthday Bake-Off!
We invite Janeites everywhere to bake a cake or other sweet treat you would serve at a birthday party or tea in Jane’s honor and share a photo of your creation with us between now and December 16. Show off your decorating skills, replicate a period or heirloom recipe, or spotlight a favorite family treat. It's up to you. This bake-off is about having fun, getting creative, and honoring Jane Austen.
All baking skill levels are welcome, and the only requirements are that the photos and creations are your own and celebrate Austen's birthday. Although there will be no judges or prizes, admiration of your work and the pleasure of connecting with other Janeites await!
