Sarah Emsley (email: semsley@gmail.com) teaches in the Expository Writing Program at Harvard University.  She is the author of Jane Austen’s Philosophy of the Virtues (2005) and editor of Jane Austen and the North Atlantic (2006).

Sheila Johnson Kindred teaches Philosophy at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. As a member of the Nova Scotia chapter of JASNA and the Kent Branch of JAS she has lectured and published on Jane Austen in both North America and England, including a contribution to Jane Austen and the North Atlantic.
